X-Strays: Kim Kim

This is a great story from awesome dog lovers and rescuers Aster and her husband, Yin. Here’s their story…

We found Kim Kim abandoned at the backyard of a restaurant in May 2010.

Check out the video and you will know how bad she was when we adopted her, basically just skin wrapped around bones, and she couldn’t even walk!

Even the vet wasn’t too sure that if she could survive.

To tell you secretly, I made my promise to her at that time that if she survived, she will be my princess dog, and here she is now, she is the ONLY dog that will be forgiven for whatever mistake that she made!

It took her almost 6 months to be completely recovered from her illness, nothing but tender loving care that we gave her.

Moral of the story is, don’t give up too early, we didn’t even consider the vet’s option of putting her down.

Kim Kim is almost 2 years old now, seeing her jumping up and down and playing cheerfully with other dogs really brighten up my days, and this kind of happiness even money cannot buy!

Thanks Aster and Yin. You guys make this world a better place.
